Under your cPanel/whm server under Plugins >> Munin Service monitor getting below error while checking

HTTP error 404
The requested page was not found.
Possible reasons why you are seeing this page:

A bookmarked URL may have changed since you last visited.
The URL was entered incorrectly.
The URL was entered with inaccurate capitalization. (URLs are case sensitive.)
Please re-check the URL you are trying to reach. (Go Back)

“This was caused by the use capital letters in the hostname of the server.

Resolution:

Specific entry “host*” need to add under munin configuration /etc/munin/munin-node.conf, most of the time this entry does not exists.


Below are the few simple steps to resolve “Internal Server Error: User is Over Quota”

root@server[#] cd /var/cpanel/overquota

root@server[#]/var/cpanel/overquota]# mv username username_date

You will need to replace the username with the actual cPanel username for which you are facing issue.


NO any option provide in cpanel to disable default FTP account which is login in using cpanel username and password.

IN order to disable default FTP you can do this from ftp configuration file, for this you will need ssh root login.

1. Once you login to your SSH using root open FTP configuration file.

Open the same file to your favorite editor

2. vi /usr/local/cpanel/bin/ftpupdate

Just comment following line by placing # of starting line.

print FTPASS join( ‘:’, $ENT[0], $ENT[1], $ENT[2], $ENT[3], $ENT[6], $ENT[7], $ENT[8] ) . “\n”;

3./etc/init.d/cpanel restart

4. /etc/init.d/pure-ftpd restart

And you are done..!!


Certain functions which are used in such scripts are named to be dangerous & and require to turned off in the PHP configuration. Below are some function which are dangerous and require disabled under php.ini file for

disable_functions = “apache_child_terminate, apache_setenv, define_syslog_variables, escapeshellarg, escapeshellcmd, eval, exec, fp, fput, ftp_connect, ftp_exec, ftp_get, ftp_login, ftp_nb_fput, ftp_put, ftp_raw, ftp_rawlist, highlight_file, ini_alter, ini_get_all, ini_restore, inject_code, mysql_pconnect, openlog, passthru, php_uname, phpAds_remoteInfo, phpAds_XmlRpc, phpAds_xmlrpcDecode, phpAds_xmlrpcEncode, popen, posix_getpwuid, posix_kill, posix_mkfifo, posix_setpgid, posix_setsid, posix_setuid, posix_setuid, posix_uname, proc_close, proc_get_status, proc_nice, proc_open, proc_terminate, shell_exec, syslog, system, xmlrpc_entity_decode”

After modifying the same PHP.ini configuration, the Apache service needs to be restarted. To take effect of above coinages.
